  • How are classes held?
    Classes are held fully online via Google Meets. A meeting link will be sent to you at least 24 hours before your lesson begins. Do let us know should any issues arise with assessing the link and meeting site. We will assist as quickly as possible.
  • How do we decide which tutor to go with?
    IB League prides itself on the high level of expertise held by all our tutors. If you are unsure, we will match you with the tutor we think will be best suited to your needs and availability.
  • Do you offer group classes?
    At the moment, IB League does not offer group classes but don't worry! If 1 or more friends are interested in the same subject, reach out to us and we will be more than happy to organise a new duo/group class for you and your friends!
  • Is there a class schedule?
    There is no set class schedule at IB League. We understand the constraints school and life can have on your schedule so lesson timings are completely up to the availability of you and your tutor. Instead, we will help you arrange a recurring weekly time slot that suits you and your needs.
  • Do you teach IGCSE?
    Yes, our tutors are able to provide support for IGCSE as well as other examinations and syllabi. Do refer to our services page for more information on our offerings.
  • Why 1-to-1 lessons?
    No one student is the same! Our tutors are experienced educators who stand by this concept and specialise in nurturing all types of students and learning styles. We believe teaching 1 to 1 is the best medium for us to provide assistance that works and adapts with and for you.
  • Do you have a physical centre?
    All lessons are held 100% online for your convenience! However, if you'd prefer to have lessons in person, feel free to reach out and we can make that happen.
  • I'm late for my lesson. What happens now?
    Please try to be punctual! There is a grace period of 30 minutes as we know unexpected situations can occur. Do let us know if you foresee yourself running late and we will try to assist as best as we can. Do note that tardiness of more than 30 minutes will result in a no-show fee. This fee is equivalent to a 1 hour lesson. It can be waived for valid reasons at the discretion of IB League.
  • Something came up! Can I cancel my class?
    Please cancel your lessons via Whatsapp or email at least 24 hours prior to its commencement. We seek your understanding that failure to do so would result in a penalty fee equivalent to a 1 hour lesson. This fee can be waived for valid reasons at the discretion of IB League. Cancelled classes will be removed from the bill cycle of the month.
  • What happens if I miss a lesson?
    We understand things happen! However, missed lessons will incur a penalty fee equivalent to a 1 hour lesson. This can be waived for valid reasons at the discretion of IB League.
  • Can I make-up a cancelled class?
    Make-up classes are only available for classes that 1) follow our cancellation policy and 2) occur within the first month of classes with IB League. Lessons for the first month are on a prepaid basis and any make-up classes cannot be used to off-set future payments instead. Following that, we do not offer make-up classes - the class will be taken out of the month's bill cycle or rescheduled (at the availability of your tutor). *Do note that classes that are missed/do not abide by our cancellation policy will result in a penalty fee equivalent to a 1 hour lesson. This fee can be waived for valid reasons at the discretion of IB League.
  • Is there a cancellation fee?
    Our cancellation policy requires you to notify us via Whatsapp or email at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson. Classes cancelled within the 24 hour window will incur a fee equivalent to a 1 hour lesson. This fee can be waived for valid reasons at the discretion of IB League.
  • I'm new to IB League! How does the monthly billing work?
    As a new student, you will be invoiced for your first month of classes as soon as the schedule between you and your tutor is finalised. Payment and proof of payment is required before your classes begin. Following that, you will be billed at the end of each calendar month. Payment is due within 3 working days.
  • I've just received my invoice. How can I pay?
    Payment can be made via Paylah/Paynow, UEN & Paypal. Proof of payment is required via Whatsapp or Email. Do note payment is due within 3 working days from receiving the invoice.
  • I have an overseas bank account. How can I make payment?
    If you are unable to transfer via Paylah/Paynow or UEN, IB League also accepts payment via Paypal.
  • Are there any registration or extra material fees?
    Here at IB League, we have no hidden costs - no deposits or additional fees of any kind.
  • I forgot to make payment. Is there a late fee?
    Late payments will be subjected to a 10% late payment fee.
